Basketball teams in Deaflympics in Taiwan
The USA Women's Team won the silver medal as they finally were defeated by Sweden in the hard fought gold medal game after dominating all Deaflympics and World Deaf Basketball Championships since 1981.
The USA Men's Team won their 14th straight gold medal since 1957 in an exciting win over Lithuania, avenging their lost to them in the 2007 World Deaf Basketball Championships.
